INTAKE QUESTIONS -- NEED YOUR INPUT

Post by mx3lacrosse »

Guys,

I wrecked my Mx3... I want to get it back up and running.. but i have to get the frame fixed before i can do that. i am looking at things that i need to do after i take care of the frame.

The intake was screwed up. I want to get an entirely new intake... like an weapon-R intake.. The question lies...

There is a wiring harness for the original intake.. and how do i bypass this harness? does the new weapon-r intake have a place for this harness to connect?

I want to get this car running, street legal. looks wont matter until the spring.. because i will get a new paint job to match the entire car.

no you can't bypass the harness as it is connected to the MAF. if you could somehow bypass it your car would run like **** because it would not know how much air it was taking in.

Even though you cannot bypass it-- there are still ways to have an intake that looks nice AND keeps that damned MAF>
