nasty smell

everytime i punch my car over 4k i get this nasty emission smell, anyone have a clue what this would be

if it's like rotten eggs then it's probably your catalic converter is clogged up that's the muffler looking thing closest to your engine

Big headach from it today though...

Im gonna check for a exhaust leak in the piping

hey man i got the same problem with my car. i dont have a clue what it is.

Well i just took it to a mechanic.... he said because i dont have my hatch interior in, i am creating a vacuum inside my car when the windows are down. All the small leaks around the rear lights and hatch are sucking in the fumes.

it seems to be legit because when i have my windows up.... no smell, or little smell

Ah ha...Same thing has happend to me as well. I had a crack in my pipe just below my manifold. It's being welded as we speak, or at least i hope. I dont trust mechanics
