I am doing the BP-T swap. I am using the GTX wiring harness and ecu. Will a MAF from a 86' RX-7 work or does it have to be from the 87-88' RX-7?

Thanks, Travis

Just to warn you, the GTX harness isnt exactly the easiest thing to hook up. In facts its not easy at all. But if you are willing to put in the tie for it, it will be good. And I people told me that the 2nd gen rx-7 VAF would work.

the second gen rx7 covered all models from 86-91, but if you look here, it says that the MAF comes from the TURBO rx7s....the year 86 only featured the naturally aspirated rx7s, the TII's didnt come until the following year.

the n/a MAF might work, but i would go ahead and pick up one from the 13BT engine. it would undoubtedly flow better anyway
