That is rediculous. $500 for a part worth no more then 150USD. This better be some sort of super cat man. Sorry to hear that you had to pay so much.

well it was 500 after labour and everything.
i think it was so much because it was my primary cat. , the one right bellow the exhaust manifold.
anyway its still a bunch of bs lol
oh and last night i hit a raccon like wtf ?!!!
i might need a new bumper now , but my front plate took most of the impact :(

Are you talking primary cat? Cuz then it's a deal, considering how much dealer charges for the primary cat.(although I just gutted mine) Secondary? Then yeah, it's insane. (my input)

Actually, if it was the primary cat then it's really a good deal, as my Cost (being a garage) from dealer on the primary cat is like $700-800, and then there'd be labour on that. Plus half the time, if you wanna take off the primary cat, the nutz break into the exhaust manifold cuz they're so rusted (as mine did), which make them even more difficult to work with...

ya it was the primary cat. i got it for cheaper then 700 because its an aftermarket one not a stock one.
I know its good deal but its still a hell of a lotta $ and my car only has 120,000 km is this a normal thing for our cars to do ?
and i checked out your car domain site, your mx-3 looks like a del sol without teh hatch lol cool stuff
[ September 17, 2003: Message edited by: Casino ]
