Just wondering where the best and cheapest place to get the bpt in the US is? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you can find a BPT in a local junkyard you are lucky. I would say CorkSport. There could be others though. I am actually going to this importing place wed. to pick up my j-spec tranny so I will ask him about some BPT's.

Corksport is not cheap and if you order from them expect a long wait for your motor. "Go motors" is where I got mine from. Shiped from CA to FL the engine cost me $1200 and I had it in 4 days. For pics of the motor check my Cardomain site, its on page one.

Aye, BLT beats GO by $50 but you get no wiring if your going to go with the GTX ECU I would sugest "go motors" but if you have another plan BLT is the way to go. Another good place to try is Nippon motorsthey usualy have BPT's in stock and at $995 its not TOO steep.

I really like Barely Legal Transplants but are they shipping out motors still? I know last time I was at the site they stopped. Make sure of that. And about Corksport, believe me I know its a long wait, over 2 months it took. But it is cheaper then other places. But if BLT is shipping engines, go with them.

What exactly is a BPT? Im kind of a newbie. Please don't kill me for being a newb lol

it's a 1.8 turbocharged motor out of the j-spec 323 gtx/gt-r.
