95- RS<p>Don't want to pay to replace rotors, I know their easy. But, do you need to un screw the center hub nut. Or do the rotors just pop off once the wheel and caliper are off???<p>THankx, Brian

come off once you get the caliper off. make sure you buy rotors that are garaunteed to not have to be turned.

All rotors brand new need to be turned, regardless. They're not completly tru, and have enough runout to cause a pulsation or noise later down the road. <p>

I know this sounds dumb, but what do you mean by turned?

turned meaning spun on a brake lathe. Some GOOD brands not the cheap-o brands do not need to be turned. I would reccomend bendix or Raybestos. Either that or cross drilled rotors should be fine.

i just had to drop my .02 into this topic. remember to clean the new rotors with denatured alcohol (rubbing alcohol) or some cleaning solution. the reason being is that they coat them with something from the factory and i heard from a pretty good source that they can really eat up the rotors after say about 1000mi.
