Resetting ECU

Post by Timmyd865 »

Hey guys. I'm kinda in a stage of sum quick trouble shooting to try and get my car back to normal. I've done bolt ons like intake, and full exhaust on my 95 mx-3. I have advanced the timing, but the car just doesn't run nice. It almost didn't start and stalled when i started it up for the first time in 10 days today. I know there's a way to reset the ECU and this could fix sum problems. Anyone know how to actually do this!??!?! I hear sumtimes it helps cause then it re calculates to the new airflow blah blah what not. So anyone actually know how?!?! Thanx guys! Cya

To reset the ECU, disconnect the battery and press on the brakes for 15-30seconds. Reconnect it and it should be reset.
