Possible CV Boot problem or an unbalanced tire?

I've had my MX-3 for about 2 years, and it's always had this "thump thump" coming from the right rear tire area. It only happens until you reach about 10-15 mph, and then it goes away. The noise does change with speed. I didn't think it was any more than an unbalanced tire, but reading some of the posts on the CV Boots it kinda sounds like that. Although it's a thump sound not a click sound. Anybody know what it could be? One thing is that I always said I would get it fixed if it started getting worse, but it never has. For two years it's just been the same.
Thanks,
Jason

its either a bent wheel, or out of balanced tire. you dont have cv joints in the rear.

Oh good, that's what I was hoping to hear. I am just learning about cars, and although I feel I have learned so much in about the last 2 months, I still have a ton more to go. I am getting new rims and tires this weekend, hopefully that fixes it. <p>So your MX-3 is the silver one I've been hearing about from TF&TF2? Looks bad *** man, thanks for representing us among all those civics and ****. haha
