Exactly what did they replace? and what was wrong with it in the first place. There are some key components that you must replace when the system has been opened. Please list EXACTLY what was done.

The 1.6 engine's a/c system only uses 1.7 lbs of 134a freon, $137 for freon is grossly over priced.

There is a new freon substitue, "Duracool", it's supposed to be up to 30% colder than R12 or 134a. It's not all that easy to find though, but if you call a/c repair places you may find one that has it. I've seen quotes of $125.00 to evacuate and refill with this stuff, (in a properly operating system).

how`s this , took it back today they said that the hose going to the compressor has an o ring that is bad. Now they are wanting 220.00 to fix that and that is including freon too. I`m going to get it fixed and then file a complaint to the attorney generals office .I has been in the shop in march, june and now august all for the same reason.I`m beginning to think that they have no idea about a/c systems

when the A/C is on it will take some effort to rotate the compressor thus less power is avalable to power the wheels

but I don't know who comes you with these numbers the compressor turns on and off all the time and it will shut off for 5 seconds at WOT
