Rev limiter.....

how do i disable it? my friend has a 91 323 that had no rev limiter till he took it to a shop for some engine work so i know you can disable it on the 1.6L SOHC engines

come on guys, is there a way i can up it? can i put in a protoge LX ECU on my 1.6? would that help power besides giving me a 7 grand redline

leave the rev limiter alone. you can't go any faster at 7K or 7.5k RPMS. You just wear out the engine faster.<p>Get a turbo<p>Get some NOS<p>the rev limiter is a dead end.
