Help needed on short shift install

Help needed on short shift install
Please help ... I got a B&M short shifter for christmas yeah but well when I was installing it, the shifter fell through the bottom, actually the rubber plug that holds it in place fell through with the shifter installed in the middle.. the bottom seal on the plug is not tight anymore?? any ideas?? Pls help? Anyone experienced the same problem?? Also does the spring needs to be installed according to the instructions came with the box. but can't get it to fit? pls helP!@

mine has the same problem
right now its just bolted up in place<p>from what information ive read, we need to buy a new shift linkage assembly because mazda doesnt sell the rubber part by its self<p>does anyone here have a how to on installing the short shifter?<p>[ December 31, 2002: Message edited by: NoVa ]</p>

So a search for a loose shifter cause a while back I saw an answer about it I believe.
