mx-3 DOHC wiring harness

Would the mx-3 wiring harness for the DOHC work better for the b6t than the SOHC? I have the opportunity to buy one here and need to know pretty quick, thanks for the input.

if i know correctly, getting the DOHC wiring harness and Ecu make the b6t install much easier.

Really? last time I checked things were all plug and play with the sohc harness. The sohc harness allows you to use the Pro LX ecu, your own disty, RX-7 MAF, etc, without complication.

Wow, cool maldo, thats good to know, i feel a lot better now cause i skipped out on buying it, i'm buying the b6t on Mon. hopefully. Also, did you use the stock alternator when you did the swap?

disty = distributor<P>And that is a no on the alternator. The B6T uses "V" belts, the B6e doesn't. You would need to change pulleys to get it to work.

Wait, so you used the 323 alternator or the mx-3 alternator, i think the way i posted the original question threw myself off. lol. Also, you have a front mounted intercooler right? Where did you move your oil cooler? And what kind of oil cooler are you using, I'm guessing you have an aftermarket one on there.

hey so your saying that i can use my own distributer if im gonna change from a 1.6 sohc mx-3 motor to a 1.8 dohc protege motor........cause this is one of the problems that my mechanic is having he says it will not work cause the 1.8 dohc has an internal coil where the mx-3 has an external......i need some serious help????oh and the tps does not work either......
