ok well i was wondering (cause i know that some people dont check the for sale forum) if anybody would like to get a dohc mx-3 motor and 5 sp tranny??? i have them from my mx before the bpt swap. if anybody would like to get a motor and start a b6t project and be able to take their time and do what they like when they like. the motor is in excellent shape and the clutch might need to be changed but i wasnt having any problems with it before the swap. it a 95 dohc 1.6l with a 104,000 miles on it. let me know. toos a price up and we can go from there. id like to sell it for at least 400-500 range for the motor.the tranny i would like anywhere around 130-200. <P>thanks for letting me be my own business man for a few minutes. fun owning my own business even for just a little bit. <P>all proceeds will go to the help jeremy pay for his haltech fund.<p>[ September 23, 2002: Message edited by: natural born honda killer ]

I am fairly certain that the tranny will not fit a 92, SOHC but will you humor me anyway will it fit?<BR>Thanks

well im not sure on that just cause i didnt do that swap but i do know i dont need the motor or tranny and do want to just get rid of it.

let me do some research and fid out if the tranny will bolt up to my engine and I will get back to you. I am planning on doing the BPT swap as soon as I sell one of my other cars. Anyone want a 95 neon, or a huge work van? For now I just need to get a tranny unfortunatley the one I bought to replace my busted one turned out to be screwed up also.

hey, once you figure out if the tranny n such will fit onto the 92 shoc let me know!!! please im dieing over here. ive been running through ideas constantly and well i dont wanna give up the car cuz its hella cheap on insurance! and if i swap insurance wont have to know. and well...i was thinking of gutting a 6cyl and takin the tranny, axle, all the mounts n such, gettin a map of how the engine mounts and custom mounting the enigne then putting in the klze 6cyl in the car and it would kick a--. just need an idea on how to get it done. thanks for the help.

im interested...just gotta think of my money situation...im a poor college kid trying to build my car...and im also debating on trying to find a way to make it fit. do you know if all the mounts are the same for the shoc and the dhoc engines cuz if they are it would help a lot!! thanks

does anybody know if the mount are close to being the same or if they would be hard to switch over. not sure between the dohc and sohc. chris would you know??? mr. mx-3 knowledge of the 4 cyl

I have looked into it and gotten two different answers from two different Mazda techs. One says yes the other says no.

well i havent gotten any feedback from anyone ive really asked or they werent sure so if yuo find out diff let me know and we can talk. ill keep trying to find out though

i asked chris malden and he said the swap would be very easy. basically its just like the b6t swap. corksport can give you all the parts you would need to turbo it and all. i would like to sell them together.

yeah its still for sale and i emailed you. just let me know. i still have to find out what all it needs to get it running cause i cant remember what parts they used from the motor on the bpt.
