Just thought I would say that I just put in my brand new Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch...and what a difference. I found the car to be more responsive when I pushed the pedal down, especially at high speeds of like 120km/hr. Anyways...it's a great clutch. Costs a lot, but worth it.

you have to be carefull on breaking them in easy or the life is decreased...

800 miles of VERY easy street driving. ZERO launches, ZERO times over 4000rpm, ZERO times even going full throttle.<P>Im not impressed.

Just curios did you install the clutch yourself or did you have it done professionally? I just bought that exact same one and I'm debaiting on weither or not I should try to install it myself. [img]shrug.gif"%20border="0[/img]

Ive' had the same clutch (centerforce)for clsoe to 20,000 miles and the damn thing strted sliping just before my tranny went out. I hope it was just the tranny. but I can say that when I first got the clutch it hooked up real nice. make sure you break it in. that is the key to long life

I had mine professionally done because it takes about 6 hours for the entire job. The mx-3 is so compact, and I watched the guy do it for a couple of the hours, but it requires removing the drive axles and a lot of nuts and bolts, if you can afford it, get it done, if you can do it, do it then, It's really up to you.
