IAT (Intake Air Thermosensor) I think :)

Need to know where the IAT is, I think that's what the abbreviation means, I imagine somewhere on the air filter box or hoses, can anyone help me out a bit?<P>Thanks

Its in the air flow meter box,pull off the connector and you see the 7 terminals.measure the resistance between(from right to left)the 3rd and 7th one.the resistance at 68F(20C)should be 2210-2690 full closed and 2100-2690 full open.Oh yea you need a ohm meter to measure just in case you didnt know.NOw if someone could help me with MY question..

Ok, just a couple of clarifying questions, I only see 1 connection on the air intake area, it's about 2 inches up the hose that goes from the airbox. Is that the connector? It kind of has a little rubber "boot" on it. <P>Tried to disconnect it before, thing was a pain. Any suggestions other than a hammer and screwdriver??? haha<P>Thanks again, in advance

yea thats it,get a flat head and pull back the clip while pulling the connector
