I am trying to figure out how to put my mx-3 back to its base timing. I know hondas require a jumper to make the computer allow this. I am also aware that the base timing is at 10 degrees. any help would be appreciated. I just checked the forums from the past year and saw nothing.
The car is a 92 4cyl. sohc
Thanks

Not sure if this is what you mean, but I know that on MX3 to put the car in diagnostics mode you need to ground pin 10 from the diagnostics plug.

I'm not sure how it's been modified, but removing power for 15 seconds should rest the ECU, and I use a Timing light to check the timing from there.
HTH
tk1138
