I'll be changing my oil to synthetic this weekend, I've got the oil, new filter, and flush for cleaning. Should I just flush and change or do I have to clean it more before I go sunthetic.

dont get me wrong here but synthetic oil will not help that much. it is said that if you dont use it from the get-go there are minimal advantages. i guess you could clean it out with a double oil change and use it from then on. it may give you long term effects. but only advantage would be higher breakdown point and maybe less wear. ;)
