hey guys. i'm planning to get an intake for my 4 cyl. 92' mx3. i was wondering if i get this intake, then perform an engine swap with a kl-ze or any other engine that performs better, will my intake for my 4cyl still fit into the newer engine? if not, what high performance engine for the mx3 will be able to fit the intake from the 4cyl?

actually. i was thinking of doing the engine swap first, but if i do that, i won't be able to for maybe 6 months or so because of finances. plus....i only used the klze as an example. what engine would you guys recommend anyway?

if it takes 6mo, then so be it. it's worth the wait to have exactly what you want. besides, the intake isn't going to make that drastic of a difference by itself so it really isn't worth your time or money if you are planning on doing a swap. since you have a 4cyl the two recommended swaps are the b6t and bpt. there's been a ton of posts concerning these two motors in the recent past so your best bet is to check all the posts. then....if you still want more info..by all means...ask
