I just got a 2.25 cat back exhaust with obx muffler..AND ITS WAY TOO DAMN LOUD.. i took it back, and they put a resonator on.. STILL too loud, im gonna get my stock system put back on...<BR>or are there any alternatives? like put my stock piping on and keep the muffler? or will it still be loud?<BR>HELP<BR>anyone else have this LOUD DRONE sound with their 2.25 V6

Hehe...welcome to the world of performace gains (yours isnt a 3 inch so you have a gain )<P>We already have the most cabin loud car on the planet next to the Colt and Geo Metro. But you can do something. Switch the OBX Airplane jet tip for a silenced one. I know at Corksport they have some listed. Or Ebay. Or Nopi. Or....well, just look around.

I have an OBX muffler asd well. I added a tube baffled muffler to quiet mine down because I had my resonator cut off ( big mistake.) it seemed to quiet it down.

I like loud, in the UK if it aint loud its crap hehehe

ya gotta remember that its just getting broken in also. After you have it on for awhile it will break in and be quieter.
