How much is an MX3 worth?

I'm looking to buy an MX3 but am wondering how much they are worth? I've seen some for £1000 to £3000. Also, are there any problems that occur with them and how expensive can repairs be?

Those seem to be normal prices. But one thing you need to look for the MX, if you're lookin' at a 4cyl model, stay away from SOHC, you won't be happy with it, it's only 88HP as where the DOHC is 105. Yeah it's till not alot of power, but it's alot better than 88. Another thing, stay away from ALL automatic transmissions, if you don't know how to drive a 5spd, learn...Mazda's auto tranny's SUCK! as where their 5spd tranny's are indestructable. Keep an eye on the body, it's very hard to find body parts for these cars because of how rare they are. other than that. They are excellent cars, you can't kill 'em! they have the ability to look great! and be extreamly fast (if you want to spend the money) there's a pleather of aftermarket parts for them. You'll never get board with it!!!

Cool, I want a 5speed anyway, as for SOHC and DOHC, erm... whats that? Thanks for the advice though

SIngle over head cam where one cam shaft "runs" both of the intake and exhause valves. Dual over head cam is where 2 cams are used. 1 runs the intake valves and 1 runs the exhaust valves.?

I think thats how they work.....

Your best bet would be a GS v-6 Manu. you can pick one up for around $6000-$8000

V6, Manual, no body damage, new exhuast.
Lots of power. Not sure if this helps you any but it's got a K8 motor. $3000 US.
