Hey Tav, are you planning on doing a rear disc swap?

he actually asked me about it then realized the answer himself right after asking me lol
i think he said he plans to but not before getting the engine in and get the car running since that's his first priority.
Got the oil pump from Mike the other day so decided to put that an the oil pan back on. All new gaskets and crank seals (front, already replaced the rear a while back!)
The painted bolts held up ok so I will just go an touch them up with a little bit! Besides that the black looks good on the silver!! My water pump should be in tomorrow so will get that an then all that I will be waiting for to put the engine back together is my head bolts!!
Still waiting on my head bolts to come in so after not only Nick bugging me to clean my engine bay but my wife too. I decided to clean it before my engine goes in!
Before cleaning
After cleaning
I also got my timing pulleys, t-stat, cooling temp sensor and fan sensor(cause I broke it on disassembly).
Just want the mail man to come quicker with my stupid head bolts!!!
So I was able to sucker my wife into helping me!!
Here's how the drivers door turned out!!
So as you can see in the last photo I doubled up the peel an seal over big openings! Also since I used the heat gun to mold it, it actually hardened up pretty good!! Even when I close the door it sounds better!! One door down an one to go!! Then the rest will be for the trunk!!
looks sweet man!
i've been considering doing mine but i'll get everything proper first rather than having a bunch of ghetto s--- put together lol
did you put any on the inside of the door or just the outside you have pictured?
not actually sure if its needed i just seen people do that so i assumed...
Ahh alright :]. I used insulation duct type stuff from Lowes. One side was aluminum and the other side was adhesive foam. It was alittle thick though so getting the door panels on was a little hard but i also covered everything hidden from the door panel. Also had no idea you were to heat up peel n seal or was that just something you did?
