I have been using this

But aluminum color for the oil pan water outlet housings. Low gloss black on the block and gloss black for all the nuts an pulleys!! It's a very tedious task but I am hoping it will payoff with the final product!!

Today my gasket set came in that mail!! Thanks to Mike for the suggestion on which brand I should go with!!

Now I can take my manifolds an head to a friend of mine to have the manifolds port matched an flow tested!!

I didn't think that their was that much difference between the two!!
It should flow alittle better now hehehe

i thought mine was port and polished with corksport cams....he just used the pics and used false advertising to sell it to me didn't he!

I got no clue on that evo!! All I know from what I see is that mine is 100% ported an polished!! I want to see what your cams look like cause I sat my two heads side by side an could not see a difference visually. Should there be any stamps saying corksport??

i have no idea at all, i just remember in colin's kijiji add that it said port & polished with aftermarket cams, he must of scammed me and gave me a regular head XD

not much difference between the BP26 head and the N/A BP head. N/A has has slightly larger ports and BP26 has sodium filled valves. besides cams thats about it.

So evo maybe I got the ported head an you got the cams???? Haha I don't know dude an I would feel bad if he scammed you!! I can't do that to people because of my conscious!! That's why if I have a crappy vehicle I trade it in to the dealer an f*ck them over!! I sent cork sport an email asking hem if they made an kind of marking on their cams, so when I hear back from them I will let you know! But as of right now I am pretty sure after having a good look at both my cams side by side that they are just bp26 cams

Did some interior work on the rear panels


So after putting it in I noticed its a different shade of black......... FACK!!!! Go figure it says it's the same but it's different!!! Gay balls!! Oh well at this point I am not going to redo it a ..... third time, well not right now I have had enough of its s--- for right now!! I will just focus on getting its all running first!

Little update nothin major has happened lately cause have been busy an no money. Got all my interior back together which is nice cause it cleans up the car alittle bit. Was able to buy an OEM mazda oil pump off Mike which means I can put my oil pan back together. Ordered my ARP head bolts which will take 3-4 weeks...... yes I am cheap I didnt want to pay the $40 bucks in freight. New water pump should be in in a couple of days and have to order timing tensioner and idler pulleys. Till then I will get my wheel bearings installed with my fancy shmancy new press!! Still trying to clean up alot of engine crap, so nothin major!!
