omfg, a rear cargo cover is a great idea. the stock fiberboard is crap and breaks too easily.

I have 3 broken-in-half cargo covers that you might be able to use as a mold (might be kinda tricky). the fiberboard is intact, thehy are just bent in half. Ripping the carpeting off is actually pretty easy. I'd ship one to you if you molding fiberglass over one is feasible.

last pic is the wonderwerks team, were working on some groupbuys for rx7.com and club4ag.com. anyways, thats the hood im working on. once i finish it by monday hopefully, i will be sending off the original hood to a buyer. basically i smoothed out the hood. if you noticed, its completely smooth, usually the mx-3 has two curves in the hood at the side, will here i added clay to the original hood, smoothed it out, looked at it on the car, and fell in love. soo thid hood will be smoothed out. im still thinking of adding a vented piece to the hood, and if i do, i'll have to create it by hand with balsa wood. anyways these pics show the process of laying up the fabric before the resin and female mold and vacuum bagging. once this project finishes, the cf cowl will start. im still working out the kinks in the cowl.

for some reason, that last rear-view pic makes the skirt looks flat, but it really isn't. i guess its the lighting or the angle or something.
Naw, I think they're a different year on the Eunos 30x or something.. If you made a mold of a good set of the "not-flat" ones (the ones in the blue car up top - or on my car http://www.mkd.cc/mx3/ ) I would SOOOO buy them. Mine got all heat-warped when they were painted and are just a pain, they don't fit very well. Also, a rear hatch cover is an AWESOME idea, I so want one!!

if you send me yours, i can try to fit them as best as possible and make replicas from that. i can't seem to find anyone with an oem skirt set that will send them to me to duplicate.

started the cowl layup tonight. pics tomorrow.

what do you guys think if the mounting points were aluminum brackets mounted to the cowl? i can't replicate the stock bracket found on the cowl and the sides. plus if i sold these, you guys might have to do some slight dremeling to get the screw caps to fit right (since i dont have any of my own to fit on).

other than that, i dont see any other way of selling these unless you guys sent in cores along with payment so i can reuse your stock mounting brackets and side brackets and attatch them to the new plate.

<img src="http://rs6kc.swc.cc.ca.us/~b2520102/sit ... sanded.jpg" alt=" - " />

there you go guys. finished my hood, its been sanded and wet-sanded after a few coats of vacuum-infused resin. once i laminate the piece, it will be as smooth as a baby's bottom. there are no wrinkles in the fabric of the hood anywhere. all the spots you see on the hood is simply sanded resin.
