The Part No is KL02-13-210. The price of a new one is about 600 Euros, so you need to find one from a scrapped MX-6, Probe V6 or 626 V6. Not the Xedos 9 - that uses a MAF instead.

That's fine. You will have the same cross-wiring as with the KLZE ECU; columns E or F on the spreadsheet ,depending whether your new ECU has 3 connectors or 4.

Does your car have the factory-fitted immobiliser? If so, try to get the ECU from a car which also has it; then the immobiliser will continue to work. If you can, also get the harness-end which plugs into the ECU, and a second ECU to take the sockets from. Then you will be able to make an adaptor harness.

No immobiliser is good, makes it easier. Any MX-6, or V6 626/Probe. If you get the ECU with 3 connectors, it will be less cross-wiring, and won't have the immobiliser function.

The engines and VAFs are the same in all those cars, all years.

If the engine is '93 or earlier, use your K8 distributor.

Is your car auto or manual transmission? I dont think the auto will hold up to the klde's torque, but the manual tranny works perfect.

I've been runnning the KL-DE now for one year with only two coolant sensors. The third from the harness is just left disconnected. Is this good or bad? I haven't got any problems with it at all.

Anyoone?

I noticed that a friend's MX-6 has that third temp sensor. So they must have changed it around 94-95. My DE is from 95. I hope it will be okay since I use the ECU that came with the DE.

And the fan does turn on.

You're using a 95 DE ECU? That's odd. I thought the 95 ECU's were wired completely different. Probe owners will only use a 95 ECU on a 95, and won't use the 95 ECU in any other year because it's supposed to be an oddball year. Maybe the Euro DE's had a different timeframe for ECU changes.

The harness from 93 fitted right in to the 95 DE ECU. No problems at all.
