Jarid, did the London Police say anything about the other fraud complaint against Extreme Doors being all your fault too?

'Cause you know that's what Kyle will be telling them...
"we had the hinges all ready... it took them two months to pay... then when we didn't ship we demanded the PayPal disputes be removed before we would make the hinges... and three months later, we still haven't sent them all... and it's all Jaird's fault"
They wouldnt give me any information at all about the other complaint. I have however been in contact with two other vendors/companies about Xtreme and have been faxed info on upcoming lawsuits. I might have our info tacked onto that lawsuit...I really really hope Kyle just calls me back and gets this finished. I left him a message yesterday and then called back a few hours later and he had his phone turned off and went right to voicemail.

SUPRISE!!! Email from Kyle today.....

Hi Jarid,

I was away for thanksgiving with my family and have just returned, hence the delay in email responses. As for the shocks when I put the order in, they did not tell me if the shocks were in stock or what, but they have since told me they were not, and this takes 4-6 weeks for them to come back in stock as the shocks are made in Germany, then shipped to Florida and then to myself.

As for the remaining kits, I have been arguing with the welder to get these done, I have pretty much all the backing plates done and I am now just waiting for the arms. As soon as the arms get in the kits will be finished and shipped. I do apologize for these delays as I want nothing more than to get these kits done with and have it in the past.

As for you posting on the fiero forum, not sure why this was done, but we have not been on the fiero forum for sometime nor has anyone posted about us in sometime. After the group buy, Xtreme-Doors will likely be closing its doors for good and hence why we would like to get this group buy over with and not to mention why we have not taken any new orders.

Thanks,

Kyle Wesley

I'm glad that Kyle got to spend some time with his family over the Thanksgiving weekend. However, that doesn't quite explain why his last communication was on Sept 27th -- 15 days ago. Nor does it explain why he hasn't sent out more kits yet, as these kits have been "ready since May."

Also, could someone please tell Kyle there's no need to buy the air springs from Germany -- he can contact Guden, and they can drop-ship the air springs to us. This will save him money on shipping, and on duties because he won't have to pay import fees bringing the hinges into USA then Canada, then USA (for some of us) again.

BTW, for us Yanks who don't know about Canadian Thanksgiving, here's more info, take from twilightbridge.com:
History and Origin of Canadian Thanksgiving

In Canada Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday in October. Unlike the American tradition of remembering Pilgrims and settling in the New World, Canadians give thanks for a successful harvest. The harvest season falls earlier in Canada compared to the United States due to the simple fact that Canada is further north.

The history of Thanksgiving in Canada goes back to an English explorer, Martin Frobisher, who had been trying to find a northern passage to the Orient. He did not succeed but he did establish a settlement in Northern America. In the year 1578, he held a formal ceremony, in what is now called Newfoundland, to give thanks for surviving the long journey. This is considered the first Canadian Thanksgiving. Other settlers arrived and continued these ceremonies. He was later knighted and had an inlet of the Atlantic Ocean in northern Canada named after him - Frobisher Bay.

At the same time, French settlers, having crossed the ocean and arrived in Canada with explorer Samuel de Champlain, also held huge feasts of thanks. They even formed 'The Order of Good Cheer' and gladly shared their food with their Indian neighbours.

After the Seven Year's War ended in 1763, the citizens of Halifax held a special day of Thanksgiving.

During the American Revolution, Americans who remained loyal to England moved to Canada where they brought the customs and practices of the American Thanksgiving to Canada. There are many similarities between the two Thanksgivings such as the cornucopia and the pumpkin pie.

Eventually in 1879, Parliament declared November 6th a day of Thanksgiving and a national holiday. Over the years many dates were used for Thanksgiving, the most popular was the 3rd Monday in October. After World War I, both Armistice Day and Thanksgiving were celebrated on the Monday of the week in which November 11th occurred. Ten years later, in 1931, the two days became separate holidays and Armistice Day was renamed Remembrance Day.

Finally, on January 31st, 1957, Parliament proclaimed...

"A Day of General Thanksgiving to Almighty God for the bountiful harvest with which Canada has been blessed ... to be observed on the 2nd Monday in October.
