Dude your ride is ridiculous.

Cheers Fellas appreciate it, not easy taking pictures like that in bad light!
Ok so had the old tires taken off the new wheels, gold metallic enamel paint on order aswell as these MS
wheel centre emblems. Going to sort out my mums garage next weekend so I have somewhere to spray the wheels.
Also looking at new tires> Kumho ecstas seem to have rave reviews for the price! goodyear eagle F1' are
£100 each in that size! (215/40/16)

Re: Sam's 1.6 MX-3- LT Turbo project> wheel worx
Back to work after the chrimbo break, so it was time to do more homework and sand one lip edge up
a bit, could really do with weld filler in there first, but our welder has gone back to Poland maybe for ever!
Next stage was to remove all the wheel weight and associated goop with a wire brush drill attachment.
Then onto a 80 grit flap wheel to remove old debris and brake dust.
Then a final going over with a scotchbrite wheel to remove the shine from paint
and a good wash out with hot soapy water, then flushed with plain water from the hose.
Next step Paint!
will update this post with the rubbing down and painting pics.

Re: Sam's 1.6 MX-3- LT Turbo project> wheel worx
Well my paint got lost in transit, so now have a refund and bought two more cans from a different company, should be here by the end of the month! Just been out this morning to fix back up again the sump guard which got knocked out by a catseye in the middle of the road, unfortunately one of the nuts welded to the sump has an eaten thread so its only being held on by one bolt at the back! Should last a while, but I can see a more substantial plate being needed soon maybe bolted to the subframe this time.
On the agenda as well as the wheels are these RX-7 side repeaters I'm looking to fit, means cutting the hole in the wing a bit bigger, which is a bit of a scray proposition! Think they look hella lot sleeker than the stock items.
Also going back to stock mirrors for now but Im going to re-try fitting some vitaloni californian mirrors with custsom base plates soon.
This year is also going to be quite full and finacially heavy what with my Wifes 30th, My Mums 70th and my Sisters 50th birthdays,
also going to be buying a Kayak this year to play around in the sea in! Also I have an invention that me and my neighbour have been working on that if we are succesfull in selling a few is going to require a few thousand pounds in investment to get off the
ground, let alone if we apply for patents etc!!!
So I shall still be around, just not as much while I will be concentrating on getting the bodywork with a few more minor mods (maybe some custom skirt work) I want to get Her in for painting.

Seeing as this is a small part of our new enterprise I thought I would post it! Filmed with a Gopro hero2 and animated in PS.
