I am with these guys on that... It's cancer alright, but with skilled hands, applicable knowledge, and a burning hatred for rust... It's beatable. I'd take the challenge, depending on the size of the affected area. A spot like that sucks, but it's not framerail rot. Speaking of which, I have an odd crinkle in one of mine. I believe it's from when I slid off the road earlier this year.

its gone frame rails were bad too. i have a 96 gs im pickin up in about 3 weeks wit a mint frame and 133k on the stock k8 and body

Sad to hear, could have been an opportunity to beef them up with a new design though! I know I'm beating a dead horse, but sometimes you just need to get a few kicks in.

ze dies leavin me stranded in winter.. good thing i had a 96 mx at home. with only 133k kms which has 140k now but still pretty darn low k......... will be selling soon as i get my new project home

ill be floating around the forums still but not as much. mx-3s are done to me.
