guys... here's what's got to happen. i need to produce a HUGE list of very interested clients. at least a 100. is anybody willing to do this? i guess a full name and email address for each person is good. who can make this list? i have something going here but i was told to keep it quiet because the company does not want any further emails regarding this topic. so, regarding srd performance, i cannot stress this enough, DO NOT SEND THEM ANY EMAILS!!!! they are looking into it but it's very tentative and we'll see. i'll get back to you guys in about a week regarding it. they do not want to be annoyed whatsover and do not want to hear about it. let's give them their week and i'll let you know what they've got to say. remember, they are LOOKING INTO IT. that is all they said. i also saw the toyota supra tails on that mx-3, that looks pretty sweet but anybody know how custom that job is? how well do they fit the mx-3? so i'll let you guys know. DO NOT EMAIL SRD PERFORMANCE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES REGARDING THE TAILLIGHTS!!!

it looks like the supra tails will fit reasonably well except towards the ends (where the amber turn signal is). the mx-3 taillights extend further out than the supra's.

i know ppl probably aren't interested... but as for the supra taillights. here ya go:
The lights are a semi-perfect fit. If you look at the picture, the two inner sides of the lights fit the trunk space pretty well; it was the outer sides of the lights that caused the problem. As you know our factory tail lights wrap around the fenders of the car, but the Supra lights are flat and curve just a little bit. So some molding work needed to be done to fill in the outer gaps where the original lights fit. Also, the Supra lights are thick, meaning that they are deeper than the original, so you have to construct a new "box" to fit and hold the lights from behind. This requires a lot of body work (filling and caulking) to prevent water from leaking into the trunk. Wiring up the lights was a snap. The lights came with the original wiring harness, so we just spliced wires up and it worked out fine. All I can say is be prepared to give your car up for about 2 weeks and this may be a costly mod.

GUYS THIS SEEMS LIKE A RIP OFF... IT WILL BE WAY TO EXPENSIVE, POSSIBLY OVER $1000. ALSO THESE MODS MEAN CHANGING THE REAR OF YOUR MX-3. DO U REALLY THINK THIS WILL LOOK GOOD??? I MEAN BY MAKING A MX-3 LOOK SOMEWHERE BETWEEN A SUPRA AND A MX-3 RUINS THE BEAUTY OF AN MX-3.. THINK ABOUT IT..
ALTERNATIVELY I CAN GET ***** LENSES TO REPLACE YOUR ORIGINAL FATORY ONES....
IT IS EVIDENT THAT THIS DEAL WILL NOT WORK AS I HAVE SPOKEN WITH MANY COMPANIES, AND *******S WILL NOT SUIT ALL COLORS LIKE C-E-A-R- LENSES WILL.

OK guys. We're not too far from something happening here. It looks like SRD is going to see what they can do for us. First, they need to figure out tooling, parts, and labor costs in order to find out if they want to do it. Then they will need a large list of prospects and a deposit. So, our 1st step is the list. The very first step is to compile an Official List of serious prospects. So, everyone that is interested please send an e-mail to happytheman (happytheman@hotmail.com) since he has volunteered to do this part. Include your full name, e-mail address, and phone number. I really appreciate your help on this happytheman. So, for now... if you don't e-mail hapytheman with your info, you won't be included because we won't know about you. Only those who e-mail him are included. Thanks =)
