No. Just get ANY klde engine. I dont think the obd2 ecu will mate with your existing engine harness either. So maybe the easiest thing you could do is run the engine with you current k8 ecu, and get a kl02 vaf, which is the stock vaf for cars with a klde engine.

I just did the KLDE swap a few weeks ago. I put a 93 626 V6 in my 93 GS. All the sensors and plugs were the same. I had to swap the exhaust manifold from the K8, cause only one side, were you bolt them on matched. ECU and VAF, you need to swap. It would be a good idea to replace all the gaskets and belts, since it's alot easier to do when the engines out.

Thanks for the answer 2fazed, but i have to do some questions....

What you wrote doesn't mate that mxmaz....

And if i use my current vaf? Maybe can it work?

do u mean run it with your stock ecu and vaf? if so, that is not a good combination. It will run really rich.

No i mean run with the stock vaf and obd2 ecu (not the stock) the klde 2.5 ecu

Use a KLDE VAF, the stock K8 VAF is wrong for a KLDE.

Is your English really that bad? Didn't we already answer this same question ten different ways on this thread? Is this a practical joke?

The klde ecu will not plug into your wiring harness (for some reason the obd2 wiring harnesses were different). Thats why the easiest, and cheapest thing to do is keep your stock ecu and get a kl02 vaf. You can usually find the vaf on probetalk.com for probably $40 or so.

Utilizzi il vostro calcolatore attuale dell'automobile. Ottenga un nuovo tester del flusso d'aria da un KLDE

2fazed and IanL says that i had to swap the ecu and vaf........

lafersfan1 and mxmaz says thas i can keep my ecu and swap only the vaf...

Which is the best solution?
Talk about it and tell me, because i realy don't know what to do...

Best or easiest that'll work pretty well??? Doing the ECU and harness change is going to be extremely time consuming, but will probably give you a few extra HP. Just changing the VAF to KL02 will take you literally 5 minutes to do, and should work pretty well.
