Re: Sam's Slammed 1.6 MX-3- Turbo project
Yeah my man said He could certainly flare the rear arches a bit more if I needed it later on, for a 9J it may well need more! however it does compromise the line that meets the rear bumper, and cheers Bro cant wait to get back on road, hopefully the replacement sump will be here tomorrow! have cut the stainless steel plate for the guard, just need to bend it weld the nuts onto the sump, drill and tap for the turbo return union and then get the bugger to seal again!

nuts have been tack welded onto the pan, means its easily removable should it wear through in the future or if I wanna remake in Titanium

Re: Sam's Slammed 1.6 MX-3- Turbo project
Managed to get outside dodging the rain to change over the sump today.
Damage to old one.
![Image](http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b393/djsonofsam/Photo0591-1.jpg)
cleaned both mating surfaces with TF-90 a chisel and some brilo pads, used RTV sealent (no gaskets needed)
![Image](http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b393/djsonofsam/Photo0587-1.jpg)
New one on.
![Image](http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b393/djsonofsam/Photo0593-1.jpg)
Got to wait 24hrs now for the RTV to fully cure then check for leaks!
I have my new camera now (Fujifilm Finepix HS20 EXR) and have found some really good locations to shoot, waiting on a tripod and some sun, or atleast not grey skies!)
P.s soz for the mahoosive pics! Photobucket has messed around with its editing feature and it doesnt want to resize.

Re: Sam's Slammed 1.6 MX-3- Turbo project > New photos!
Looks great. How can you make it look lower? Bigger rims? It just seems like other stance photos I've seen is that the tires are tucked even more... although this is the most extreme I've ever seen an mx-3... just curious if it's possible to get even more extreme?
