In the case of very contrasting stripes (like dark green on white), I agree with Mitmaks. I think it'd look weird on a car with no sharp edges. I think you could pull it off though, if the stripe color is close to the background...

I think it'd look great, but you may be onto something about the sharp vs. curvy lines... There's a good reason you see stripes on domestics more than imports. I'll think on it more.

Haha ya, I gotta admit I'm not feeling the stripes, but then I never do really like them haha.... but then, I'm not a fan of green or white, either, so looks like our tastes differ here! Haha
That blue, though, I do like... almost as sexy as 350z blue on an MX (ultimate!)

hey guys, now i need some help picking some paint. my summer mx-3 is getting painted and i changed my mind im not going to go with the old 2tone paint job i had, http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3231494/1 ... 2314940001 thats the old paint job. im thinking about going all blue, with the Blue Flame Metallic or the 2006 GTO Impulse Blue Metallic.. any thoughts?

I'm pretty positive I want the blue of the last MX-3 image I posted... I found a Honduh color that is damned close to what I want. That, nice dark tint, and gunmetal Powdercoated 5 spoke stock wheels... I think I could live with.

hmm try taking a peek a mazda's new blue type 40B(m3) and 40E(M2) I THINK those are the color codes. and i believe there's one blue that you'd probably really like. ill check monday morn and send you a picture + code of all three colors if i've got time.

Judging by the subaru color another you may like is from Ford "Medium Wedgewood". Don't know if it helps any but thats just my two cents .
