Made a bracket to put my brackets on. LOL Basically the brake fluid reservoir will be where the battery was. The battery will be in the front left corner where the air box was. The air box will be gone and a home brew cold air intake with a K&N filter will take its place. Other then that, the rad will fit where the A/C condenser would be (if it had A/C). It is like bringing a baby home from the hospital, except this baby is a V6 from Japan. After a little reorganizing, I am sure the straight neck KLZE will be happy in it's new home.



Put the pedal pads on the brake and clutch. Have not found the 323's gas pedal....yet.

Had fun at the garage today. Got the pedal box back together and installed. I also installed the master / booster, front suspension and brakes.






Waiting on the Wilwood brake fluid proof rubber hose to finish off the reservoir project.





The rotors are from a company called KVR. They are "J" hooked and Cad plated black. The swept surface will become bare silver. I left the swept surface black to keep them from rusting while the car goes back together. (I will prep them when it is closer to go time). I paint the rear wheel wells and removed the $200 323 rear suspension I was using to roll the car around. The MX-3 rear suspension is almost ready to go in.

It's always like that, mine were too. I think it has more to do with availability than manufacturing cost - a lot of other cars share our front rotors but not our rears.

I was about to agree with Night-shade, but they use the back one on alot of cars too who knows why the rears are more Not even vented

algirdzz_ They let me hang out here because my car is nearly all MX-3 It has MX-3 suspension, brakes, crossmembers, transmission, engine mounts, wiring harness, ecu, steering column and front seats.


Played with the car for a few hours. Got more then I thought I would done. Polished off my remote reservoir project. (attached the Wilwood remote reservoir brake hose). Bolted the struts to the rear suspension and bolted the whole works into the car. Attached my Ractive strut tower brace too. The trailing arms are half on, I need to buy some bolts for the car side.

I have spring fever! It has been a abnormally warm March, I know this is just a cruel warm tease and it will likely snow again, but I am enjoying it anyway. Played for a few hours at the garage. Painted the rear bearing hubs, the hats of the rear rotors, rear calipers brackets and rear bearing dust caps. Gearing up to be ready to plumb the brakes on Sunday. Rollin the car around on all four wheels felt like a great acomplishment. (even without the rear brakes on yet).

Here's an interesting little known fact. Every year hundreds of wheels come off while driving and the number one cause is too much paint on the mating surfaces if the hub and rotor/drum. As the wheel vibrates on the road the paint layer gets crushed and the tension on the lugs is released. The lug nuts get loose and the studs start to fatigue. One stud snaps and then the other go soon after.

They make me take courses on this stuff at work.
