meet up at 2ish is probobly best. Leave sherway gardens around 2:15 or so if everyone comes on time, by the time we get parked and into the show it should be about 3pm.

and who exactly is coming. not sure about Ian right now

If I remember correctly, last year we had a meet up time of 10:00am. To leave at 11:00am to reach the Rogers Centre at 12:00. That being the case those who went will remember that a few parking lots in the area were already full. Along with that, the Rogers Centre parking was gettting quite full too and wasn't easy to find available spaces right away. First off, if we intend on trying to park together which was difficult last year even at those times, we'd better look to arriving at the Rogers Centre for around 1200. Arriving at 3ish could spell a full lot at Rogers itself since no one at this point has made and move to try to secure any other spots near and around the Centre. Rest assured that the chances of parking together at the Centre when arriving around 2 to 3ish will more than likely be impossible. And isn't that the whole point of going together in the first place.
I must admit I have my own self serving reasons also. Being that there's close to a 3 hour drive when leaving Rogers Centre, it would be more prudent to try and take in the show as early as possible. I understand that that's not much of an issue for others since the most others near TO would only have to drive 1 to 1.5 hrs to get home.
Then there's the option that I'll go by myself and perhaps meet some of you guys there at the showroom floor.
I guess what I'm asking is is there interest for meeting at Sherway Gardens at 11:00 am instead? I know it means backtracking for me but at least I'll be arriving at a decent time and be able to leave at a decent time to get home.

OK, Sherway Gardens Mall - 11:00am.
Now, I've never been there before, so whoever suggested that place could you give directions/maps, and specific location at the Mall on where to meet. Perhaps specidics on directions to get there from the east and west on Lakeshore. As well, directions after heading south on 427 from the 401 - which exit off 427 onto Lakeshore - East/West???
FRS radios on CH3 as usual of course.

This is all assuming we're taking Lakeshore all the way to Rogers Centre??

Rogers Centre
Getting There:
By Car:
Rogers Centre can be reached by taking the 427 south to the QEW (Queen Elizabeth Way) highway (eastbound) to downtown Toronto. The QEW divides into the Gardiner Expressway and Lakeshore Blvd. - both of which will take you to the Rogers Centre facility. Take the Spadina Ave exit (north) from the QEW or the Rees St. (north) exit from Lakeshore Blvd. to Rogers Centre. If visiting Toronto via Highway 401 (the MacDonald Cartier Freeway), exit at the Don Valley Parkway southbound to the Gardiner Expressway west to the Spadina Avenue exit (north) to Rogers Centre.

Parking:
the Centre’s indoor lot, entrance across from Gate 8 on Bremner Blvd.
