STEP AWAY FROM THE BLUR TOOL!!!

I REPEAT:

STEP AWAY FROM THE BLUR TOOL!!

Seriously those are terrible quality photoshop jobs... the MX-3/RX8 original one is okay, but those RX-7s are just hideous in both design AND quality.

Keep sketching!

yeh i use a diffused glow on the background at the end n do lens flares, maybe that gives it way to much of a blurryness, ill try making the cars look more realistic next time.. maybe even put in a background 8) . besides i only started photoshopin i expect to get better wit experience :D

Agreed. The RX-7 ones dont look good, the front end of the second one looks like a dodge. I like the RX-8 one, but stick with the RX-8 style headlights, dont like the round ones.

Hey man- Its all good- like I said just keep trying different things and you will see that you get better every time.

Your cuts/splices on the original one were very nice an I like how you combined the lines... but you overused the blur tool which is expected for a PS beginner.

(PS- stay way from lens flares too-- thats a sure sign of a beginnner!)

If you do anymore drawings like angles etc. .. I wouldn't send anymore until you patent it. Even showing it on here could be risky.

Mazda could use it and you wouldn't get any credit for it. That would be upsetting.

Just a thought.

Alright, I just came across this and I have to say that the original design is pretty badass.
Just a couple of suggestions here ...
A spoiler is a must. Nothing huge, but like the mx-3 gs spoiler that's just like a tiny drag wing basically would be nice.
The integra headlights look nice but don't work well because they're from an integra. Keep the heritage true!
I think it'd be fun as something different as far as drivetrain though. Maybe a mid engine rear drive 6-speed sequential car. Kinda like the MR-2 but better because it'd be a 2.5L V6 and not a sissy 4-cylinder. Otherwise, front engine, awd would be fun enough. Although, it really doesn't matter because if I they did it and I could afford it, I would so buy one. lol.

Looks good, the front end vaguely resembles the new Porsche Cayman.

That is a great photochop, i Agree that i would buy one of those in a heartbeat even if they only the put the 2.3 out of the 3 in it. Great job.

You do know mazda is comming out with a car (atleast a prototype) that is a cross between an mx-3 and an Rx-8. I posted it a few weeks ago.
