Very nice Pat. I think you helped me make my mind up wrt what I should do for the IM and spare VC's. I'll try the acid wash to see if I can get them to look as clean as oem new. If that doesn't work well enough than I'll opt for black VC's with the polished raised lettering. Very nice concept with the retention of all black hoses and wires etc!! Don't think I'll go for the Mazda Logo though and I'm wondering what the extensive intake piping is for - I'm guessing a SC mounted by the A/C spot???? Were going to have to put our white cars side by each some day and exchange ideas.
That is the Mazda 626 AWD twin turbo ZE concept. Never made by anyone sadly.
I just really like the engine bay look Since mine is close (minus any schnazzy turbo stuff (for now )) that is the model I'm using to build my engine bay off of. I am alos going to use your suggestion of black pearl valve covers and will polish the intake manifold or maybe purchase a really cool one that I've seen.
