man that sucks.. and yea i know what u mean, those white plastic craps are cheap! anywayz.. i was tryin to think of a way to mount them so that i could adjust the projectors.. but then its gotta be a really sturdy, or else when i make a sharp turn or hit a bump, the projectors would fall or something. and actually, i have some cool frames to use.. where the projectors mount right in, but you would have to move the frame piece to adjust the light. complicated.... so i duno what to do. i'll post some pix of it, so any ideas would really be great! :p and btw i doubt i'll use the stock adjusters lol

ok heres what i have to play with:
* a frame with 2 projector holes
<img src="http://www.geocities.com/samzcoolcarz/DVC01155.JPG" alt=" - " />

i know that the frame wont nearly fit inside the headlight housing, so my idea is.. cut it in half and mount the block/hole/things somehow to hold the projectors.. 1 half in each housing.

<img src="http://www.geocities.com/samzcoolcarz/DVC01157.JPG" alt=" - " />

another view of the holes. so any ideas on how to make these adjustable? maaaybe---- use the 3 screw holes u can see in the panels? lol i duno but thanx guyz.. and if the damn geocities posts dont work, i can try and upload a dif. way. aite thanx again

ya.. well they're clear (not yellow) but they're a lil scratched up. :p ohhhh u meant clear with no lines! lol well i'll do a test later on just how much the lense distorts the beam. AND i got a question for anybody! -- there is SO much room in that housing dudes.. what should i put in there? lol i still need a hi beam of course.. but a turn signal maybe? thanx

2. Sand your existing cover from the inside. Very labour intensive, but possible. You also can just sand a little square or a circle where the beam gonna go through. But you need to get projectors first, mount them inside and then see where you need to sand.[/QB][/QUOTE]
is it possible to get plastic lens pieces molded into the current lenses, ie hyundai tiburon style?
Drive it like it's stolen, cuz it's so funny watching the cops creep up on ya real slow if ya stop, lol.

Interesting idea. If you got a spare lenses for both Mx-3 and Tiburon, try it. Polycarbonate is hard to cut. I know dremel with fiberglass wheel will not work. May be diamond carbide cut off wheel will do the trick or a really good jigsaw and a steady hand. I would buy a 0.25" sheet of polycarbonate at Industrial Plastics and practice for a bit, just to get it right and see what works.

Or may be just try the retro a whole lens onto our housing, but have not found a perfect shape and more importantly curve to a donor lens yet.
