I had the Blitz SUS filter on my old motor. Nice looking, nice sound but that was about it. Not much for performance gains. When I bought the PRM for the sohc it made a world of difference. Here is my thinking: You already have the PRM right? Keep it. If is just as good, if not better design than all of the filters. It is protected from water and heat, whereas the other designs can get infiltrated with water. Nothing against the other designs, personally I like Apex'i products. But you are just adding more costs. You have the J-pipe running off the turbo, then to the Maf and then to the prm. It should be positioned so that the prm is in the location where your coolant bottle once was. Go to Home Depot. Buy some convoluted tubing, used on heater ducts, 3" size, get two hose clamps of the same size. Attach the hose to the pipe running off the prm. Do you have a mesh grill in your bumper? IF not there are other ways of mounting the opening. If you do have a mesh grill, use a 3" speaker port, cut a hole in your grill to allow the port to sit in. Run the tubing over the port and fasten both together using the hose clamp to fasten things securely. Voila! Nice cold air. I wouldn't worry too much about water. Its not like you are going through deep puddles...are you?

quote:
I found the MSD 6-BTM for $470 & the Blitz Dual SBC-iD with out the Power Meter-iD for $560... do you know of any places cheaper???

That seems fairly expensive for the MSD. Go to www.summitracing.com , this is where I got my system. You should be able to buy the BTM for under $200, coil for $30.
Not sure about your spark plug situation, I will see if I can find something out.
