Well its been an interesting week learning to drive with the lowz. Did alot of scraping and grinding at first but you soon find the best path
to take along the road each and everyday Ive done less grinding, still you have to take it quite slow on some roads> only just under the 30 speed limit, but the amount of attention you receive is incredible as you just cruise past :D :D :D
One little teaser shot as I couldnt resist taking a puddle shot as its been a really rainy April here the UK. Oil pan seems not to damged right now so I might go another 10mm to -120mm

Yep I am and yes Im looking into it, found a couple of bolt holes I can use already with a sheet of stainless instead of actually welding it to the oil pan.

Trust me man I live on an Island in the country so our roads are piss poor my driveway is sooo uneven and I work on an industrial estate that has had years of abuse from trucks and buses ( I can only exit from one way as the other is just too broken up)... you just got to say f--- it and live with the consequences, its soo worth it for the way it looks :D Some places you just cant go though, like any entries with speed humps but last week I went and picked up 75litres of R.O. water for my aquarium from the fish shop and that put the car down some more, still made it home though :D
I certainly wont be picking up any more tiles  low definately is a lifestyle!

Oh I nearly posted a picture then ;) but your just going to have wait sorry, She needs a clean and another paint resto plus I wanna remove both license plates and the tax disc for them to get a super clean look and hopefully Im fitting a new wing on friday after that one got badly dented and get the arch rolling matey around on saturday again so the car is driveable again.

Front fenders are rolled and flared already, unfortunately a few months back after a strong gust of wind blew over my old bath tub :( it crashed right into the wing and dented it badly!
I know have a SH wing ready to go on but as soon as it goes on if I dont jack the suspension back up (which I dont want too) the car will be undriveable, well I could but it would screw the tyre in fo sure, lol

Archenemy booked for sunday now as my usual matey was out the country till end of may and I wanted it sorted for Japfest on the 12th of May so one of there agents is having a 250 mile round trip just to roll and flare one arch! Aswell as His long journey down it looks like we might be in for some 60mph winds & rain on Sunday, us living very close to the sea it could get quite extreme!
So another pita thing about low is getting the car off the ground for work purposes. I have a three stage method now> drive up onto wooden blocks, scissor jack then fits undo the sill, then trolley jack under the front!
Old wing off was pretty easy really, managed it on my own :D

Replacement wing on.

whilst the car was up performed and Oil and filter change which should of been done a while ago judging by what came out...

Hey Sam do you have any issues with rubbing on the gas tank piping in the left rear wheel well? Fortunately I caught mine soon enough before it busted through! :?

Ive just looked and had a feel (My passenger side rear) and no there is no rubbing issues and there are actually no pipes in the wheel arch and what pipes are there are two metal pipes (about 50mm & 10mm dia) are hidden up the side behind the inner wheel arch guard so my wheel & tire are no where near it.

Yeah I've rubbed through the plastics and it started rubbing on the larger pipe. hmm must be tire width/offset differences. I think if I had a 5 or 10mm spacer on there I would have no issue but then I would be up against fender.
