Looking great! Operation Colour Change seemed to be a success from what we can see, but would love to see pics of it after it's all done & the new valve cover & Intake mani installed

Today I'm planning to peel off the remaining vinyl and repaint the whole car. I'll post pics tonight. This time I'm going with the flattest black paint I could find. We'll see how it looks.

Nope it's all rattle can...but it's expensive rattle can...like $9a can.

I miscalculated the amount of paint I would need...so it's not the result I was hoping for but I really like the black. It's very flat.





It needs another coat and you can see at the back how it's a bit shiney...That's the satin that I used last year. I like the flat a lot better. I will have to take another crack at it next weekend.

Looks like a black primer..I like it.Especially with the jdm parts..
But i can assume that the surface will be very sensitive in the scratches..

Sometimes i think mx3 looks better with no shine at all..

Yes for now it's pretty thin so it would scratch easily, but then again it cost me about $75...so you get what you pay for.

Yeah next weekend I'll get 6 or 8 more cans and do the whole thing again. I like it...it's really flat but still really black.

Oh, man. Flat black MX-3 look terrible. JUST KIDDING! I think you need a clear UV coat. Mine goes grey on top.

I forgot to ask what you are willing to spend on a descent car body ?

I don't have a set budget. I'll look at anything nice. Obviously I'd prefer something cheap like with a blown engine and I'd hate to tear apart a really nice runner but I will if I have to.
