Yeah not sure if I ever posted the exact process for MoonWax®

Wash car
First time using MoonWax® - wetsand with 400 grit
rinse off/wipe off residue
wetsand with 1000 grit
rinse off/wipe off residue
tape off windows, etc
spray rattle can black primer (I usually go around with 2 light coats)
let dry
wipe down with a damp cloth
dry sand with 2000 grit
wipe off dust with damp cloth
spray rattle can black primer (2 more light coats)
remove tape
done

Keep in mind that a true MoonWax® job really should be performed by Mooneggs himself. I've never seen another primer job that looked as good as mine. I have seen better flat black paint and vinyl wraps that looked better but I'm sure they cost more than $50 :)

Ok, man. I have to say this, looking through your work log and it is amazing by the way! but you should start up a MX-3 performance shop or something you got to be the most dedicated mx'er in the western hemisphere or should I say the world. Excellent work.

Re: Mooneggs 1992 mx-3 "race car" IP 11/5 MS-01R Rims

So the car continues to sit outside in disrepair... but I got some new shoes for when it's finally able to run again :D I ordered these a couple months ago from Japan through my contact in Australia... they came by boat so it took a while lol... I've been waiting for a year or so for a decent set to come up. I originally was going to get gold but decided it was a little too much and just went for silver instead. These rims are in excellent shape and have all the center caps. I even have the tool to remove the center caps!

Mazdaspeed MS-01R Rims designed for the Miata - I decided not to get the MS-01 for the MX-3 since they were only 15 x 6.5. Also the MS01 look like a 2 piece rim and I didn't really care for it. My plan is to take off the "Roadster" stickers on the lip and maybe the "R" on the spoke... I also need to figure out what tires I'm going to use - I am considering the Kumho V710 in 205/50/15 or 225/50/15...

I also got some MS bungs (1 for each car) that go below the shift knob to hold up the shifter boot! Yes they are OEM Mazdaspeed

I finally got in the MS seat brackets (only 1 set is pictured). I hope to try and see if I can get my fake MS seats installed soon... I have a feeling that these brackets will only work on a genuine MS seat though... we'll see! The brackets even have mini MS logos on them - so cute lol

I used to run chrome altezzas and then fake CF altezzas and then I finally painted over them with transparent red paint. I ran with the red altezzas on both cars at one time or another... Since then I have been running LHD+RHD EDM/JDM oem tails with or without rear fog lamps.

I'm not a fan of RX-8 seats... or any other OEM mazda for that matter...

These are the various MS options I'm looking at:

Nice MS rims. If you ever want to unload those TSW's I'll happily come down and pick them up. :D
