On a separate note....what motor would this be judging from the intake?

Looks just like a straight neck KLZE. The only way to be 100% sure is to look on the block.

kulluminati is correct. It's straightneck KL intake, but the head stamps will tell you more. The cams should be checked as well, while you're at it.

well...here goes... Im not in VA right now im in Oregon until Saturday. So a friend calls me and tells me he found a klze for 500...i say cool. Come to find out its the same motor my buddy mentioned yesterday. Well, i just paid a grand for a klze before i left. My buddy who wants the klze said he doesn't have the money right now. Since i did i bought it...AND my other buddy got it today and said "hey...im gonna put it in for him." When my buddy gets enough money ill sell the other klze to him for 750..so in the long run i save 250. and here it is

Exactly. That intake is for/from a ZE, but it does't mean they swapped on to a DE. Possible, but odds are it's a ZE under it. As MM92 said, confirmation would be the stamping on the heads. KL31- for a ZE, KL- for a DE. Usually the big issue is getting that IM to clear the master cylinder in a LHD Mx-3

Good to know it's progressing further!

Why don't you use them off of your stock K8, or the engine you're pulling from the car?

Not too familiar with the v6 swaps here, but could you not use the mounts from the donor car? I think thats how the BP/B6 swaps are usually done.
