technically it was born in 91 sometime cause they're assembled earlier than they're sold =P

Well you know how the VIN works, the last (I think 6 numbers?) determines the number it came off the production line. You can gauge more or less when it came off the production line by asking others around here about their VINs and estimating its DOB. Mine is lower 800's if that helps.

so like, yours is 000800 or something like that? Coz in that case, mines like 200,000...??

I think the first two numbers in the last 6 are for something else, cause I'd be 110,8xx, and obviously, there weren't 100,000 MX-3s produced at launch, (i don't even know if total MX-3 production totals that much). But I guess go by the last 4 or 5

N is 1992 Model Year.

So, I'm assuming that would mean my car is either 8161, or more likely 108161?

would there have been that many MX's made that early on??
well I'm N1676001 (sorry, I was reading the VIN of my 323 before! haha woops!

That tag ist a sold date, that tag idicates a production date
