I feel like I am barely doing anything because my car doesn't need anything worked on mechanically at the moment. Everyone else is doing engine swaps, building custom audio housings (aka you), and other major projects. The things I am doing feel so miniscule  . But it is coming together. Minor things here and there are making a difference.

Well, I wish I could afford to start some engine stuff but mine is okay too thus far. the stereo stuff is just a lot of wood I had already. cheap stuff, you know? We'll get there. Tax check is gone now. :(

FINALLY, the weather is in the double digits (Celsius), so rather than studying for my Philosophy final, I went outside and began "sound deadening" my car. In an hour and a half or so, I removed the two rear kick panels and applied the materials to the right side. Took some pictures, but I'll wait until I finish until posting a long a-- post with all of the pics and details. Jacked to get back to it tomorrow.

Also going to check out a VW Westfalia Van tomorrow. Only $500, so I'll probably buy it as long as there are no major problems. Irrelevant, I know, but now I'll have another project! :welder: :D

Your car looks like mine on the interior right now. Mine is totally gutted. Still haven't pulled her out yet. Then I gotta put everything back in. Thank God I used to work at Mazda and got parts for basically cost. All the stupid little clips and screws etc are such a pain. Oh the fun.

Those little plastic screws are complete BS. I just snap them off and I'll buy some new ones from Canadian tire when I go to put it all back in.

Yes. A big update. I sold the car in August of last year.

I never did post any decent pictures of the car. So here are the last pictures I took of it:
