I'm waiting for flywheel bolts and a starter to arrive.

Here's what I'm up to:

I received new flywheel bolts this week, so I test fit the transmission centering the input shaft in a bushing within the new pilot bearing in the flywheel... *breathes* Later on I drilled the holes for the transmission.

While soldering my harness, I found mistakes in the diagram. The chart should be correct though.

Most recent test fits:

That's an awesome sleeper man. I would never attempted that difficult of a swap, takes serious patience. I just told my gf remember that guy we met in eastern washington, I think he has a little to much time on his hands lol. Awesome job so far.

I wish I had too much time. I've been fighting for every minute of this build. I'm too popular at work. Never do your work at the shop you work for if you have a deadline.

Just for you:

Wouldn't a straight-neck IM fit?

Not unless I cut a hole in my firewall.

So out of curiousity how do you plan on securing your manifold down? Those center bolts look like they will be a real pita to get too. Not only that but are those rear runners going to recieve sufficent air flow? Otherwise I like the look of it, looks real aggresive similar to the new GTR aftmkt manifolds you see.

Oh shoot, I didn't notice it was facing the other way!

Even if you rotated the IM 180 degrees, but I'm sure you already tried that...

Yea a PITA looks like an understatement. I'd expect to see some metal tubes at every bolthole location to get them in with a long extension. That IM looks f'n sweet though, I foresee a hood scoop also?

U shud paint the Celi blk and slam it ... At nite ...with that kl exhaust note...ppl will be lost :) (was that a farrari ???) Cool beans man, lookin fwd to seeing the finished product! :2thumbsup: :2thumbsup:

I was contemplating the Death Race Mustang paint scheme...
Another thing to look at would be the clearance of your steering column shaft. Aftermarket headers won't fit in my bay, and an AE86 is smaller IIRC.
Link me to your build if you get serious with it.
