Sigh

Attempted to start the car today. It is not starting, it turns over fast but doesnt wanna start. I put the car in the ON position and checked the Orange power wire for the big disty plug and I am getting power, checked the red IG wire for the small disty plug and I am getting power there too. I think that the disty is toast. We will see, kinda funny it died when it was not in a motor...

I know you're checkin power, but have you checked for actual spark from your wires? Thats a sure way to tell your disty is toast.

Check your timing, ground points, and if there's any fire outpout to the plugs. Check the gas pump too.

Timing is spot on as I had the car running for one day under a 93 harness/ecu combo.

Ground points are good.

I will check for spark when my bro gets home. I have a line on a 94 disty. So hopefully that is the issue.

Gas is only good for a few weeks technically, but you can get away with a few months, but it may depend.

3/4 of a tank from late Oct and my in storage ZE fires up no probs. Tanks are sealed so gas lasts longer. Check the plugs on your ECU?

I would use a bit of starter fluid just in case, the gas in my ATV goes bad after about 2 months.
