Well got everything covered. I still need to make the glass pods for the rear speaker. I pick the plexiglass in the morning and i'll just be waiting on the leds to come in. When thats done I'll re-cover the door panels.

Sorry it took so long me me to post another update. But I had some family issues. Anyway The Mazda is up to 146.1 playing music!!!. So i'm on target for my goal for 150 + on music. I haven't tried to burp it because at this point I really don't care what it brups. My plans for 2011 is to add 1 more Kinetik 2400, Trade my Sundown Saz-3000 for 2 Saz-2500 and get a high output alternator. I think these 3 upgrades will put me at the 150 mark on better. Anyway I went to junk yard and picked up some stock door panels. My current ones had been fiberglassed to hold 2 6.5 and 2 tweeters. I was never really happy with so I'm putting the stock back on. Only problem is my speaker are to deep. So i add alittle space by fiberglass some speaker rings to the grill. Here are some pics.

Its only 23 degrees outside. That to cold for fiberglass to get hard. So i cranked the heat up in my jeep (bad tranny) and put the glass parts in there 20 min later hard as a rock

So have you ever heard your engine run? :P Any auto electric shop that rebuilds alts can do your alt up and it shouldn't cost you more than $160-$170. Where do you get enclosure specs or is that a trade secret. One way or the other that's some crazy work. Are you related to Mad Mike. :P

yea it had a system in when it looked like s---...lmao

There is no trade secret. The is the wide of the car from b-pillar to b-pillar about 12" deep then get smaller(wide wise) down to 39" wide and about 13 more in deep. And its 17.5" high. That give to a gross air space of 9.16cu ft. Then you subtract speaker displacement and your port to get your avaible air space. I have 7 cuft and the box is tuned to 35hz.

I found the alternator here is the link http://www.qualitypowerauto.com/catalog.php?item=252 . I order 2 of them. I'm going to pull the AC compressor and put one there and one in the stock location.

so how does the rear speaker placement sound? I was flirting with the idea of putting rear speakers in that same exact location!

You'll be pumpin phat tunes but may experience difficulty in the 'chillin' department doin that. :P

So will the system ever really be finished? I suspect this is work that will always be in progress. :D

I never use the ac anyway. I don't know why. Ever car that I own has ac but I rather roll the window down.
And No this car will never be done. Thinking of going to 6-12's and changing to 2 Sundown 2500 or 2-3500. We will see what tax time holds. I do know I'm going to two-tone the car. I'm going to keep the white on the bottom and Candy Cobalt Blue on the top.
