A KFZE should have "KF" on the engine block.
or you could take off the valve cover, check the cams, if there's K801 on them, it isn't a KF

i know that it is a 2.0 v6 because is stamped but it may be 144 bhp,165bhp or 170 bhp an this is what i need to identify

my old 2.0 kfze 165bhp (the only thing that raises it to the 170 is the cam and intake manifold)
kfze pistons:

kfze stamp:
yours:
pistons do not match so i would say yours is the 144

one guy had this engine in probe with cai , 2.5 downpipe and Piggy Back.
He was faster than others probe 2.5 V6. I'm confused

do you have proof of this? dyno? drag times? or is this just him saying i was faster than other probes lol.
A piggy back as in an some type of fuel managment? well yea that will get more power out of a engine possibly more than a standard 2.5kl puts out.

well thats strange .. my KF has two big letters KF on the circled like the K8 engine... isnt that strange..

hi there , i am sure now that i have the KF engine after i saw the label on the motor block : KF 220632 and the shape of the manifold.
Now , how can i see what kind of ECU do i have ? :-s thanks

read it.. its on top of the ECU.. on the floor, next to the firewall, between the flootwells of the driver and passenger.
