i thought moonroof is a roof that recessed and a sunroof let sun pass thru.

You can google this and find lots of opinions but the general concensus seems to be
Sunroof = metal
Moonroof = glass or polycarb
However that was more prevelant 10 or more years ago when the metal ones were more common.. it seems that these days most of them are glass, and most people just call them a 'sunroof' in either case.

I had no sunroof at all. I had my hood fly up and crush the roof so I took it to the sunroof company and they had a body shop on the side. The roof itself was like 795.

i had one quoted when i worked at mazda for 395 that was the cut in the glass but it looked like s---

your hood flew up and crushed your roof? one of the carbon fibers? ... where do you buy hood pins anyway and install them?
