I've never looked into leather seat covers though I have thought about it. The problem I've always thought is like what Mitmaks said. The texture of the stock leather is what makes them so nice. I think it would be hard to duplicate.

there are some decent upholstery shops around here too but I'd like to get same exact seat covers not something that LOOKS like stock ones.

If someone does get a GB going for these hit me up. I'm a super mod on clubprotege and I'm sure there's plenty of ppl there that would be interested in a set

I got my covers online, about $900+/- w/ shipping for fronts/backs and door inserts. I also have the 94+ seats which were more expensive since they have headrests. Came w/ piping and colored inserts which I chose. I have not had the OEM leather seats so I cannot compare the leather, but the leather itself is top notch. Leather is from Katzskin but the covers were made by a different company, hafta look it up.

The leather used in the original seats are a Japanese leather supplier that used Connelly leather, same used in Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Porsche. I have a few samples top prove that effect. Also the seat style was also an input of Porsche as well. I’m in the trim business and I’m working an exact replica set with smooth black perforated leather inserts and smooth black none perforated leather on the rest of the seat with vinyl seat backs as the originals where. The only thing left is the heater coils you would need to buy from Mazda to finish the seats to make them OEM original.

$950.00 to $1000.00 because of the hard to get the perforated leather.

Ya, but there's 2 problems with that: 1) availability and 2) price. Aftermarket heated seat pads can be bought for a good price. I got them for my truck and they're $65/seat (2 pads per seat). I actually did all 4 seats in my truck and used Pathfinder switches for that OEM look. I also installed them in a club member's truck as well. The hard part would be the switches. You can modify the OEM ones to work an aftermarket pad no problem, but the issue is finding them.

For just seats? Or full trim?
