I wasn't speaking in terms of performance...more with respect to its attitude. My bike is evil. It will literally try to consume other bikes.

No it does not have VTEC...it has 76lb-ft of torque...and it's pissed.

They were blue when I got the bike, I think they are just painted.

My bike is a 2000,
Full D&D exhaust, headers, pipe
Jetted carbs to match
New 520 chain
New -1/+2 Vortex Sprockets
Aftermarket clip ons bolted under the triple tree
Lowered 1 inch in the rear
Newer battery
New voltage regulator
Integrated rear signals
Flush mounted front signals
Newer brake pads front and rear
New fuel filter/air filter
Aftermarket front fairing

(new/newer = less then 1000 miles)

Plans for the winter are to stretch the rear 6" with a chrome swingarm, polish frame, polish rims, paint all the fairings and take white with a blue flake. Should be fun.
Took the bp+t out of the mx and swapped it into a 95 escort wagon. ;)

all hondas are evil.

and that was a semi-serious question, the VFR 800 actually did have VTEC, i saw one at a bike meet with the badge and laughed my a-- off

Maybe I'm dumb, but by adding 100whp, do you mean putting the bike in the pic?

Made myself a 1-piece rear strut bar to replace the crappy hinged e-bay bar !

ebay bar weight - 3lb 1oz
my bar - 1lb 10oz

Got it coated Black , i like it low key :) also the Ebay one is 7/8 and mine is 1 inch. it fits through the same holes in the panels I just had to enlarge them a touch. Probably install it tomorrow, i just picked it up from powdercoat

yeah ive seen this rear strut bar installed. definitly a very sexy looking bar. i think my bmx pedals would destroy it, thats why i removed my rear bar in the first place. but i love it.

That looks beefy! I like.

I wonder Joe.. You think you can make a strut bar like this:

http://www.boomplustoys.net/images/sti/ ... ut_Bar.jpg
http://atxmotorsports.com/cart/images/F ... %20BAR.jpg

Something that fits the mx3 better then the ebay shat? Something that clears behind the curve neck IM? And has the gusset holes like the second link?

Ive been planning to make a front bar, but to do it right I need a tubing bender first.. theyre relatively cheap so Ill look at getting one soon.

but I like the Idea for the gusset holes, is that what theyre called ? lol

Im working on a crossmember right now with the same type of gusset attachment points
